Checklist for Underwear Buying

Not a lot of people understand the importance of materials, cuts or fabrics when it comes to their underwear, but we do. At Curwish, we aim at extending overall lingerie comfort and style. We usually do not pay attention to or shop for underwear as much as required.

We also forget that our underwear and lingerie are just as important than our outerwear and that we need to pay equal attention to our underwear closet.

We have curated a checklist for your next underwear shopping spree -:

  1. Style

This should be your first criteria for selecting your underwear, mostly we have always stuck around with the basics hip huggers and bikini bottoms but this world has also evolved around us. We have a wide range to choose from starting from boy shorts, thongs, hipsters, tummy tucks and compressors. Depending on your comfort and daily wear needs you can pick and choose for this and many more options available these days.

  1. Fabric

For years we have been relying on cotton underwears and for certain days we own lace. Well, ladies, it’s not 1980 anymore and we must focus on the fabric of our underwears as much as buying a new pair of jeans. Living in extreme weather conditions or moderate, the fabric of your underwear is equally important and these days we can choose from – Cotton, Lace, Satin, Mul Mul Cotton and Silk

While these two are the most important factors you should consider while picking out underwears, there are other things to keep in mind -:

  1. Color – Go ballistic when required but do stick to your blacks, whites, and beiges as well
  2. Seamless – Always a savior under fitted pants, skirts and office wear, these are a must-have for every woman
  • Size – Every brand entails different sizes, always be mindful of your correct size and try not to experiment in this domain.

Go bold or go basic, remember to always pick something that will be comfortable and breathable. Always have a go-to brand for your everyday essentials and experiment with your fancy variants – that way you do not have to worry about the sizes.
